I don't know what it is with me and Texas border towns for Memorial Day, but 8 out of the last 10 years I've been in Laredo for the holiday weekend. I couldn't do that if I tried. Two years ago I deadheaded up to San Antonio on Sunday because it was 15 degrees cooler up there, and then 2 days later got a load picking up in Laredo.

I'm not in Laredo, but I am in El Paso. I figure I'll either end up here in this border town over the weekend, or I'll get a load out today going to... Laredo.

Well they showed me. Good run to Fort Worth. Looks like Beer Butt chicken after all. 40/81 split backed up 40 miles. Crashville not a problem.

Ok.. I see that ... Just the thought of those 2 together for a holiday weekend was a Shock...... Voodoo dolls and Hotdogs everywhere... lol
