Rene' and I just returned home after three great days in the EO booth at MATS. We were pleased to meet old friends, new friend, put faces on some screen names and just plain enjoy the camraderie of the drivers in our business.

Lots of Forum members, and a few lurkers, stopped by the booth to say hello to Lawrence and Debbie and their staff. RichM, Bob and Linda of Teamcaffee fame and terryandrene joined the EO staff to help where we could. Most of our effort was focused on ensuring that the hordes of CDL holding visitors, that passed through our area, were informed of the opportunity to drive home in the Speedco truck

The highlight of the Expediter Experience area at MATS was the Chrome Shop Mafia tricked out Speedco "D" truck. This thing of beauty is an awesome sight and will surely please the winner who will be announced at the Expedite Expo in July. You'll surely hear more of the event when Lawrence gets back to the Forum.

Thanks to all the Speedco folks who joined us in the booth to help promote the Truck giveaway, The Chome SHop Mafia who stopped by for a foto opportunity and thrilled the crowd around our booth. A special thanks to all the readers of the ExpeditersOnline website and forum who, by their participation, help to make this event possible.

Bob and I really had a great time in the booth with the crew from EO, Terry and Rene' and also Rich. We really enjoyed talking to people about the SpeedCo truck and getting to see old friends and meet new ones.
We find it amazing how you wait and wait for this great event and then in a blink of an eye and tired feet it is all over. Well here's to looking forward to another great event next year as this one is in the books.

I also enjoyed it very much.Lots of good friends which makes it a worthwile trip. The Speedo truck is a work of art and should be the prime attraction at this years Expo.

I want to thank the good guys at Fedex Custom Critical for their hospitality in inviting me for a great dinner and the Fedex breakfast. Even though I am no longer active within the Company I still feel like I am part of it. So thanks Virgina,Scott,Kathy Brooks and of course my old CC Vickie Shadies.
