Marines sour on Comrade Obama, brass silent on the dissent

My son is in the fourth and final year of his active duty enlistment with the Marines. Troop morale has been low during Obama's tenure. Basically, the repeal of "Don't ask/ Don't tell" was the last straw for many Marines. Forced acceptance of homosexuality has no place among military men. The issue is too contentious. Perhaps, a new category of conscientious objectors will emerge.

There were at least 3 of them in the barracks when I was there. I can just imagine their glee the day Comrade Obama opened the floodgates, so to speak. A lot of STDs were probably passed around that very night.

You know the problem with bad cops? They make the other 5% look bad.

The Army is no better. They have little use for Obama. They are getting out as soon as possible. Repeal of "Don't ask, don't tell" has a lot to do with it. His treatment of the Constitution and his gutting of the NCO and officer corps is also contributing. There is often discussions among the troops on which side they will fight on in, what many of them believe, an upcoming civil war. Reminds one of the same type of discussions that took play in the US Army in the run up to the War Between the States. This is a direct result of a total lack of leadership AND a truly anti-American president. It is likely that a majority of today's troops will uphold their oath and fight AGAINST Obama if it comes to that.

For those of you that saw my post a few weeks ago about Obama being at Walter Reed visiting the wounded, there was an incident. A marine told Obama to get the F out of his room and a few other things. He is now looking a legal issues for treating the Pres that way.

Good for him!)

I bet they like him even more once they see their health benefits cut next year. Have to raise money from somewhere for another green energy project.

He as NO clue in the world what he is doing. OR He does and he is trying to destroy us. Either way, he needs to go. VERY few in the military respect him. Most men and women of courage and character don't like sleazy wimps.

Yeah, I understand where he is coming from, BUT, the regs are pretty clear.

As to that one in the hospital, not much will happen there. He is there for a reason, hurt, angry, not being treated properly. In all kinds of physical and or mental pain. There is a lot of leeway there.

I dont know anyone in the Military that likes him. I saw Bush come in all the time to see the troops and he just walked around with his security like a regular person saying hello to everyone.

Obama has people in front and behind that have big screens on wheels about the width of the hallway. He stays in between them so not many people have access to him or can even see him. I was very surprised about that. Even in a military hospital, they are afraid of someone doing something.

I hope that Marine has nothing happen to him.

I dont get involved in political conversations because people can get so over the top about it, but I am really scared with Obama in the office. I have been to parts of Europe and he has a bad reputation according to the people I have talked with. Most like Bush a lot more.

Unfortunately, I dont like any of the options to vote on this year. To much religion in the some candidates and that is not part of what America is all about. Afghanistan and many other countries political system is based on their religion. See what is happening to them. Christianity had those problems in the past also as Kings used religion as part of their control over peasants. When rule was based with heavy religious views, more wars where had and more people have died in the name of God than any other religions. We dont need that to happen here.

I am a christian so I am not bashing christians. Just giving my point of view. If I need to know what is right and wrong in the name of the Lord, I will go to church, not listen to my President. We need a business man in the White House and not politicians or preachers.
