Another round of winter weather is expected to drop eight to 12 inches of snow on parts of southern Michigan, including the Detroit area. The National Weather Service issued winter storm watches ahead of the snow, which was expected to start Tuesday night and continue Wednesday. At its peak, the weather service says snow is expected to accumulate as quickly as an inch per hour. Rain may fall ahead of the snow in places, leaving roads icy. Temperatures will drop into the 20s on Wednesday, with wind chill readings in the single digits. Winds gusting to more than 30 mph on Wednesday also are predicted to hamper visibility. Gale warnings were issued for Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.

I'm about to finish my first book on my new Kindle Paperwhite I got. It's been years since I've read any book, I really love this thing :)

What's the book?

Brandilyn Collins Dead of Night. Really good book about the search for a serial killer. Kept me glued and guessing to the end. Contains a lot of religious overtones and references so might not be for everybody.

Just selected my next book going back to Stephen King's classic Salems lot.

If I would've known this, I would've turned down the pu in the morning in MI, going to Ohio.

Had to bow out of that load. Got about 2 miles from home, before I was convinced that anything north of 6th gear (20mph) was feeling like I was driving on a wing and a prayer. I fishtailed sideways at the first light I hit on Telegraph. Just happy it was early enough that no one was on the side of me, and realize I had better not push my lucky streak.

My apologies to you and dispatch, John. I know it's a headache for dispatch to cover a load this late in the game.
