I thought the proper Tartan for the Elliott Clan was a medium blue with red accents... is there another Tartan for your Clan?

My mother's side is of the Duncan Clan, with a Tartan very similar to what you are wearing... but it looks like it could be a fun event anyway!

Correct, that is not my family tartan. I am going to order an new one this year with my families colors. The one I have now is the US Army tartan, served and worn with pride!

.Great for you....

I got a paid DH from Dallas once....:)

Oddly, last time I was in OK, I took a chance and DH to Dallas and it paid off, this time in Dallas area I get a load out of OK. You just never know how it's going to play out

---Today my search for the right time and place to have Fried Catfish will end. I have two places across from each other. I have already got the locals opinion on both. However, both are most likely to be a disappointment. Why? The last time I had fried catfish was when I was around 10-12 years old and was made by my Grandma and we caught it together. It was the best fish I ever had. I loved it so much I was even sneaking cold leftovers out of the fridge. It's kind of strange that I never tried it again after all this time. Maybe because a part of me knew that nothing could live up to childhood memory, but I'm going to give it a today :)

Results of my first catfish in over 30 years. It was good, but looked more like a kittenfish. I've never seen a piece of fish so paper thin. I hope that is not the size norm now with pond raised vs. Lake catch:rolleyes:

There is some decent filets out there but in my opinion the farm raised doesn't have as much flavor as wild does.
