Sitting at the petro in Bordentown Picking up sunday in New York city against my will, that will be 4 days without a load while on hold to do a 2 week tour trucking band gear (backline) from venue to venue.Don't know the name of the band yet will know later on this evening when i get the paperwork.

It happens. We like the shorties too. Can usually get a silly per mile rate on them. One just has to be careful and be sure to either get all miles or enough to let that load finance your deadhead to a decent area.

I'd stay there a bit. Between Tucson, Phoenix & Nogales you should be able to snag something.
But that ALL depends on IF your carrier is actually watching for a load for you.
