Had a run from OH to Laredo. Cancelled due to being "too heavy". I mentioned I have 3 axles, but it's still a no go.

They were doing 75 north from Ohio border to Munroe.....instead of holes we now have speed bumps.....nice repair job.......gee whiz....

Offered a 200 miler up to Buffalo. I didn't think about their no-idling law. Now I kinda hope I don't get it.

Note to self... no NY, NJ, or New England in the winter.

No. I've lived around Dayton for over 12 years and it looked pretty much the same then. The "add a lane" project south of Dayton was a nice addition but both Cincy and Dayton have been chewed up at least since I've lived there.

Yeah, it's always a crap shoot on the ones coming from up there that I end up on. Some go great and some get delayed.
PLUS, I get way too eager and start setting alarms instead of checking in and just asking dispatch to call me.

thing is....Toronto.....the driver could zip thru OR it could be nose to tail for 60 miles on any given day....
