Morning! Just delivered and at the flying j in Davenport and holy cow there are 10 expedite vans here mostly panther. Really hoping dispatch can show them who's boss and get me out of here before anyone else lol. But gonna take a nap. Might try to relocate a little later tonight or tomorrow depending how things turn out

Relocate? to where?..any closer Chicago is dead....absolutely dead for us right now..EB has been there since Monday no less...
Rule of thumb..never take miles away from yourself by moving towards yard....LOL..think different..like US 61 straight into St Lewey way....;)

Good Morning....Sunny, nice cool morning breeze (well the breeze was here all night) and 1st cup of coffee brewing now...I can see another Load 1 ST here off in the distance (Good thing you got loaded Mike) Just ran a 19 but nothing coming back yet...I should still be # 1 with right at 48 hrs..

Nice week OVM!! As for sitting, Any of us that have been with Load 1 longer then a day or 2 know John hates any of the trucks to be sitting..and yea and from my numbers, I am sitting more..but the fact is it ain't as bad as it could be and for some it may just be as OVM says, Drive Less, Make More.....

I personally am thankful for all the efforts and everything that John and the Crew at Load 1 does for us, the contractors and drivers that are leased to them....

QC sayes i am "Still #1"...kind make you come Hmmmm....I vaguely remember my daughter showing that sign not too long ago!!! :)

You all be safe, enjoy breakfest and drive careful and be aware of whats goin on around you..:)

I wish I had more loads like last night...makes this so much easier.

I got to the receiver at the start of midnight shift and I had a small bearing.....found the mech. crib and 2 guys and as it turned out the machine operator the bearing was going into...well when he seen I had his bearing you'd thought it was Christmas morning and I was Santa! LOL He was worried he'd be sent home and loss the shift which he even said he could not afford....he wouldn't even get 4 hours just for showing up...one signed for it and they both went happy as the day is long.....Life is good for this fella and his family to-day....great to be part of it....:)

One thing to remember..our dispatch does not pull off a specific board..we don't have defined lines to cross..a unit might be in Lansing or Port Huron with more dwell/waiting time and does not show up on the Taylor 19.....like JoJo the other night 19 showed her 4th..BUT there were 2 in Lansing with more sit time and she was really 6th as far as dispatch was concerned....

Good morning from Muskegon...51 degrees and can't see more then 29 feet away....very foggy..

Morning everyone! Back at the yard. I was 13th after making my drop around 4am, now 11th.

Ovm musta got out the measuring stick for the visibility report...29 ft..lol.

Looks like a pretty day shaping up here at the yard. Sunny and warming up, visibility at least .79 miles :)

Not really...if you have more wait time then say the 2 in Lansing and there is time on the pick up dispatch will ask you if you want to DH that far, then its your choice to run that far depending on rate.......but then again they won't ask you to run out there for a small one just coming back to Detroit area either...everything depends of something....LOL

.

Actually was thinking about moving to Chicago. Not now though! But I wonder what's up with Chicago used to sit no longer than 15-20 hours before you would get a load out. Might just tuff it out here and hope to get lucky.
