I tried the tv thingee...it is a personal choice not to lug a TV around with me....

Jenny....my unlimited was gone long ago....

When I just had the laptop, I used this in the van. Worked great. Got tired of the small screen. I use the antenna with the 22" TV now. And that works. The base has a magnet in it, so I set it on top of the van and the cable is small enough to allow the sliding door to close, seal and not hurt the cable.

More than likely I will Scott. Does he get history and discovery channel that's what I mainly watch LOL.

Wish this wind would die down. This roof vent cover looks like it might rip off and fly down the street the way its banging and flapping.

Sorry Chris, no History or Discovery but always at least one PBS.:)

The antenna I use came with this kit when I used just the laptop. Maybe you can just order the antenna. I tried the Phillips antenna, wouldn't work inside the van, only outside. Cable was to thick to close the doors right for my liking. At the yard I usually get 22 channels. On road, anywhere between 5 & 30. If you get between cities, you'll double up on channels like This, PBS, Bounce etc...

Best part is its free, no monthly fee. Does what I need.

Might just use my laptop for movies and tv shows. Got a xbox360 that has netflix I might bring and play during off times. Wonder how long it will last along with a 22" tv on my external battery. Might be worth while to add a 2nd just for the electronics.

I just have 1 group 31 house battery. With the espar running and tv with 1k watt inverter I get about 20 hours before I break out the honda genny. When the genny is running charging the battery, I plug the tv into a AC plug I installed from the shorepower breaker panel.

The genny runs right at 15 hours in Eco mode running the battery charger, tv, and phone, iPad and headset charger.

Laredo to Shreveport...anyone know if Shreveport GM Truck is open for recieving on Sat???? Protect time is 3/5 0700...and its a "get a hotel" type load.....Love the load, the rate had to be "fixed" from the est., but the increase might have to go to the hotel room for the weekend....

Not to shabby. Bed is real comfortable and got the tube. For me I don't need a fridge or coffee pot. But I do have a table, chair and stove and all the clothes storage I need. Can fit three skids easily and since I modified the bed since I've been home to slide to the partition when folded down, I have a little room between the bed and 3rd skid.
Home away from home! ;)

Not sure but I delivered right across the street the other day. But I would call them and see. I'm sure someone will be there maybe you can slip someone a 20 to unload you tomorrow morning. But if not got plenty of casinos in the area if your into gambling

So your just running one battery ? Not bad sounds like you got a nice set up. I need to ask Todd he used to have a tv/gaming set up in here he would know. Will ask him once he gets back from vacation. Once I get this generator working I will probably be using it alot more once I get everything set up.
