Picked one up in the Gr Rapids area...it didn't deliver till Monday in Avon Lake...remembering Guido mentioned he had work to do on van at home..I called him to see if he wanted the last half of my load at least he'd get paid to get home....just swapped with him here at the yard....both parties are happy....

What are you talking about Cuzz.. i was in KC for 2 day..a total of 55 hrs when i was dispatched with the run i am on now..In TxI was in El paso for 2 days when i was dispateched with a load to Del Rio..spent 2 days there (over a weekend) then was DH'd to Laredo and was Dispatched within 10 hours....loaded to KC...
Sitting 2-3 days, is no big deal and normal in this business.... Now, beyond that, My comment was to OVM...said he was 5 for 5 this week, he gave half a run to Guido and said he was hoping for another to go 6 for 6....my comment was about him doing good and "maybe Karma" would be with him for his good week and good deed fpr helping Guido....

Thank you, Ken, for thinking of me in such a special way! Oh, by the way, got unloaded, like, 2 days early...lol..Thank God, because, now, my van is idling rough, thinking it is a coil pack gone bad..setting up an appointment with my Ford master mechanic friend to find out what it is asap...Thankful it is acting up close to home! Never did this before...hmmmm...

Honestly the small truck life is not the same as you had with straight trucks or tractor trailers. You need to figure out if it is going to work for you. It works for some, but not for all.
It has been a very strange and unpredictable time, that is for sure. But like any business you get in it for the long term....

Freight finally made it across the border. Loaded almost 2 hrs late. So, delivery changed from 1900 today to 2330 tomorrow. Larry made it right tho and I don't have to rush. Will stop and get some KC bbq.
