Not now. Return to shipper, load cancelled. WTF!!!!!!

Already driving and it canceled? This is crazy!
I'd sit and see if someone else comes to pick it up... Hope not, but if it is, it's new low of expediting....
That is why I try to charge all miles. You drive 180-200 miles to pickup and no go. No pay either.

Empty (again) in Morrison TN
Took everything I had to bite my tongue as returned freight was unloaded.
Make or break Friday just got a whole lot tougher

Dispatched didn't know why, and I didn't ask shipper.
If I was to guess, I'd say its hitching a ride for less via truckload.

That blows..
At that point how much was saved, Manpower to load, unload and load again, Manpower to put freight back into system, Pay for the truck ordered not used..I don't see much of a savings.
(I would lean towards the freight was sold to 2 different carriers at the same time)

Very much so. It's bad when a cancelled load takes out a good chunk of a Friday.

Are you leased onto one company?

All miles are always paid, just not enough sometimes. We can't drive only loaded miles so I don't understand why people would say a load being only pays loaded miles. But now that I think in the case of a cancellation they might not be true. Took a minute for the loght bulb to come on.

Told my dispatch, I'm bored with shorties.

Loaded, Laguna Beach to Portland OR. Lol....

Good luck.
I was just in OR.
Nothing ships from there. Like same loads are bidding for 3 days with 25 units standing, no movement.
