I just got woken from a sound sleep by pimp #3 wanting to tell me he had a load for me 120 dh + tolls the whole way and 15 loaded miles ! I told him 350.00 guess what I didn't get it
Going back to sleep now . Goodnight just had to share. The pimps are getting desperate too it seems

In a previous life, I had a dispatcher that primarily worked the TL boards. There's a ton or loads out there that are "ready now" and FTL.
Makes me wonder how easy it might to be a owner op in a tractor if you had a person looking out for you to get you loaded up constantly. Or if you were able to do it yourself, sense I know neither company driver is what I'll be lol.

Also dumb question, does FTL stand for full truck load?

Juju must have shaken the rugs too hard; I slid off the road at the Brandon exit (406) on 90. Killed three delineators, a mirror head and the passenger side window. Tomorrow morning, I'll have to swap out the load, then get the window fixed by Safelite and jerry rig a mirror. Just thankful to God that my wife wasn't injured! Now in a room in Sioux Falls.

Same gig but a whole lot more choices and demand. You can always sign on with a Carrier. I like the Landstar load alerts thing.
Of course with the right partner, anything is possible

Correct. FTL as opposed to LTL.

That's good food for thought for a further plan of being an owner op. Def don't wanna rush into because these trucks are expensive. Also being a company driver ain't too bad

So how are guys in tractors not moving all day everyday?
Same as st8 and vans money is too low and urgency to move freight isn't really that pressing its just the way expedite works everyone is convinced that truck load of paper plates is so desperately needed!

I was taking the scene route from EP to Del Rio one year....in the middles of sand storm and the a small rain storm....the whole windshield muddied up in a hurry....it was weird
