Makes me wonder how easy it might to be a owner op in a tractor if you had a person looking out for you to get you loaded up constantly. Or if you were able to do it yourself, sense I know neither company driver is what I'll be lol.
After a 6 hour nap ... unloaded in NC this morning ... now relocating to a freight friendly location for more sleep ...
That's good food for thought for a further plan of being an owner op. Def don't wanna rush into because these trucks are expensive. Also being a company driver ain't too badSame gig but a whole lot more choices and demand. You can always sign on with a Carrier. I like the Landstar load alerts thing.
Of course with the right partner, anything is possible

So how are guys in tractors not moving all day everyday?
Same as st8 and vans money is too low and urgency to move freight isn't really that pressing its just the way expedite works everyone is convinced that truck load of paper plates is so desperately needed!
I was taking the scene route from EP to Del Rio one year....in the middles of sand storm and the a small rain storm....the whole windshield muddied up in a hurry....it was weird
