I use Telenav on my gps-enabled Nextel phone. Of course, I drive a cargo van, so it sends me down some no-truck routes. Other than that, it works pretty well. It costs me $5.99 a month, plus my normal phone bill. Not too expensive when compared to other gps progs and equipment.

we have been using the delorme 2003. Bought the 2004 and didn't like it. Too much junk on it that you don't need. Sometimes simple can be better. It does have Canada but we like MapnGo for that. Not very detailed but we don't travel Canada that often

after reading all of these threads--i noticed that a lot of you have computers in your cab and (this may be rude of me to interrupt this thread to promote myself and my trade) however, i am writing an article on truckers who have computers in their cabs--though some of you have responded (and i thank you) i still need more stuff to complete this article...could you lend a hand? if yes--then please see topic posted as "Wi-Fi and computers" i'd appreciate any sort of tidbits you can throw my way--ps i hope to have this article completed over the weekend...jeff and lawrence will be publishing it on this site...thanks all!
