The simple minded thinking on here never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah, me too! Just think, all the simple minded thinkers are going to either vote for Romney or Obama and expect something to change. THEN, when some one steps out of the box, TRIES to make a REAL change by voting for some one who is NOT a Demoncrat or Rumbumlican, THEY are ridiculed and made fun of by the simpletons that are expected change without changing the game. THAT is REALLY simple minded thinking!

Yeah, ME TOO! All the simple minded thinkers are going to vote for Romney, or Obama, and expect MAJOR changes. How simple minded is that? AND THEN, those SAME simple minded thinkers will ridicule those who TRY to change the game for NOT voting for Demoncrat or a Rumbumlican. As the old saying goes, for things to change you have to change. Only simple minded thinking thinks that doing the same think, over and over and over and over again will some how result in a different outcome. Talk about simple minded thinking!

Voting for someone who can make a small difference achieves more than voting for someone who can make no difference.

BUT, Romney WON'T make ANY difference. Reagan was no different, he was just one of the gang, a Rebumlican. NEITHER of the two parties or candidates give a rats butt about this country or the People. I am not addle brained enough, yet, to believe that Romney is anything more than a total party hack, who is only looking out for his own good and that of the party. The Rumbumlicans have the EXACT same goal as the Demoncrats, total control of the People.

Powell is irrelevant. His endorsement probably won't sway one single voter that wouldn't have voted for Obama anyway.

WOW! What better endorsement than one from a sleazy dud like Powel? The more 'endorsements' ANY candidate has, the less I like that candidate. When endorsed by scum, I like them even less.
Care to elaborate, sleazy and scum? And don't come up with two or three sentences. If you can call him those types of names surly you can defend them, right?

Woo hoo! I won $20 bucks!

I bet that race would be brought up within 3 posts. It only took 1!

Thank you Bobwg.

Your welcome only brought it up because a black man accused me of being racist for wanting to vote against Obama and being against Obamas policies. So thought I would ask the question of Powell

No wonder we never solve any arguments, lol. :p

Very, very good point. This is lost on 98% of the population.

Yep, that is EXACTLY why 98% keep voting for Democrats or Republicans. ANYONE who believes that there is more than $.02 difference between the two is missing more than a few screws.

To each his own, but being a realist has to play a part eventually. I am a conservative constitutionalist and bantering names does neither support a position or defend an argument. To the point, Powell is a patriot who fought for the right to both state and vote his opinion. While I do not share his opinion, I find no cause to call him a racist for formulating that opinion.

Patriots who serve in the military normally look out for those troops under them. I worked under Powell during the first Gulf War. He looked out for his own advancement only. He only did what suited HIS needs. He can't be trusted.

Powell said in 2008 when he endorsed Obama that his decision was not totally color blind, so in other words he voted for Obama partially because he was black and i have no problem with that at least he was being honest that race was a partial factor in his decision. I belive alot of white people voted for him because he was black just to be part of history and others because they belive the guilt put on them about racism by the left
