Well, after once again immersing myself into the mind numbing land of DOT World recently, when I read those highlighted parts what I see from the first one (Spamming) I would be hard pressed to classify the post as nonsensical, as it made sense to me, and because of that the rest of it falls apart. If it were "...have no substance OR are often designed..." then it would fit the "designed to annoy other forum users" part. But it must be both nonsensical AND be designed to annoy other forum users.
See what visiting DOT World does? It makes you both obtuse and sharp at the same time.
On the second one (Trolling), I believe the post was precisely as highlighted in red above. It wasn't too far over the top, I don't think. It's not as if he was advocating murder or something (not that that hasn't happened here, either <snort>). But it wasn't too far out of line for this Forum and based on its historical precedence. One particular quirk about the Soapbox is, about half of all of the threads created within it are for the purposes of either angering the members (or a sizeable portion thereof), or to provoke an emotional response of one kind or another, either in support or opposition.
But, hey, that's they way it is with many professional soapboxers. They know they can push it a little in the Soapbox, but the same kinds of things in another forum would get them shown the door. Maybe, eventually, we can re-evolve into something where that kind of deliberately insulting, emotional-baiting crap gets you shown the door here, as well. Not there yet, time will tell.
