Lugnuts

For years, I've driven trucks with chrome lugnut covers.

Currently, my rig has black lugnut covers which look cool.

I saw a rig with red lugnut covers which would not accent every
vehicle color...

How about you..??
What do you use on your lugnuts..??
Or do you just leave them bare..???

There is nothing more unseemly than a naked lugnut... The nerve...

Personally I go for the el cheapo chrome cover.

Mine has the cheapo chromed plastic ones that come from the factory. I kind of like the look of the black lugnuts against the aluminum wheel when they're black and not rust colored. When these get ruined by the road I'm going to look for something better.

I went out and bought some really nice ones, took the old ones off and put them in the tool box - then I went to NYC.

My first trip, three on my right front tire went flying off then I hit that big pot hole when you get off the GWB.

My second trip, two more came flying off when I went to Brooklyn - one hit my visor and stuck between the visor and the cab. Got it unstuck but it was too far gone to use.

My third trip I lost the rest in Queens somewhere, so I stuck the old ones back on and threw the new ones in the tool box.

Since I lost most of the old ones on the right side, I think there are four left and gave up on trying to make the truck look flashy.
