Looks like Ron Paul has finally figured it out

BWAAA-HAAAA-HAAAAA! Ron Paul has yet to lose a debate in this election cycle. He has routinely moped the floor with his opponents and usually brings the crowd to their feet.
Got the Fort Worth rally from a couple of days on right now on C-SPAN. Think that attendance was around 2,500. That was followed by the event in Austin where the crowd was over 3,600 ....

Dr. Paul is addressing the crowd .... he is being frequently interrupted by the cheers and whistles, hoots and hollers .... they just absolutely love him and the message ....

After watching a few of these, one would have to come to the inescapable conclusion that anyone who would say that the good Doctor isn't demonstrating and exercising true leadership, that he isn't capable of exciting people and rallying them to a cause, is a functional dolt .... just not real bright on the uptake ....

As far as I've seen, Dr. Paul is the only candidate that can bring out these kinds of crowds ....

Shoot - the "presumptive" nominee, Willard, could only manage a few hundred "supporters" in Wilmington, DE a couple of days ago ....

Look, I know you like stirring the pot and poking hornets' nests (so do I, sometimes), but let's remain in the real world while we do it.
You've heard the old saw about men being from Mars and women from Venus right ?

Well, here's the rest of the story as Paul Harvey would say:

.... neocons are actually from an alternate frickin' universe ....

OK, so enlighten us. Whatever state one lives in has their primary. People vote for whoever they support, the intelligent ones voting for RP. The primaries continue. Eventually it becomes clear RP is not going to be the nominee.

That leads to 1. voting for a 100% socialist train wreck. 2. voting for a 73% socialist train wreck. 3. writing in a name with no possibility or hope of winning but likely helping the 100% socialist train wreck win or 4. abstaining and likely helping the 100% socialist train wreck win.

Which of those is it we should be leaning toward again?

OK, so enlighten us. Eventually it becomes clear RP is not going to be the nominee.
At what point would that be ?

(Correct answer: in Tampa, at the Republican Convention .... definitely after the nomination has been made to someone else)

But how can that possibly be you ask - particularly at the point where Romney apparently has supposedly obtained the requisite number (1144) of bound delegates ?

He'd have it locked up .... right ?

Well .... only if he can achieve 1144 on the first round of balloting ....

What might cause him to not secure that many votes on the first round of balloting ?

Mebbe .... just mebbe .... some of them bound "Romney" delegates might actually prefer to see someone else as the nominee ....

You are aware aren't you .... that even though a delegate might be bound to Romney (on the first round), they are not necessarily required to vote in any round of balloting - they can abstain from voting ... ?

...... oh the horror !

If Romney doesn't secure it on the first round, then all bets are off ....

Beyond the above I try to avoid engaging in hypotheticals which amount to self-fulfilling prophecies .... put forward by sheeple of limited intellect who don't vote their conscience, but instead compromise their integrity and principles based on what someone else might do ....
