Basically, ive searched the online sites such as Craigslist, Monster, and Indeed for Transport jobs using my Cargo Van and the only type of jobs i come across is local Courier work. I'll do it if I have to but would rather come across a position where I'm driving out of the Atlanta area going 4hrs or so to make one drop off and then back or just a few deliveries locally not 40 to 100 stops a day.
The local courier ads claims you will make between $700 and $1100 a week but after gas and other misc. company expenses as an independant contractor you'll be lucky to clear $500 which as a 1099 worker, taxes will come out of that at the end of the year.
I have a 2006 GMC 3500 Savana Cargo Van that I'm more then ready to put to work. If anybody knows of a local company in the Metro Atlanta area that is HIRING, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You....
p.s. I'm willing to drive loads out of the metro Atlanta area to Florida, S. carolina, N. Carolina, Alabama, Tenn....basically southeast.
