Looking for brokers

My husband and i have been driving expedited for two years. We previously drove for a company. We now are running for brokers. We currently have two. One that tries very hard and one who calls if someone calls him (doesn't look for loads). If anyone would have any suggestions for brokers to contact we would greatly appreciate it

Never had any desire to do the broker thing.
Shouldn't you line up a group of brokers before leaving a carrier.

My bottom line for a caro van is around twice that of when I was a lease operator expence really isnt that bad other than $500 per unit for insurance my volume of work is less but thats what I want more money less work.

www.3pladvisor.com has good list of 3pls that wil keep you busy for awhile. I think a week or so ago there was a very short list of expedite carriers posted on here most of them also broker.

We have 2 brokers. One who does fairly good and one who does nothing. We make more running limited with the broker than a company. As you know now is a slow time so we just want to increase our load possibilities. You make more because you have no company fees. Expenses are the same just make sure you have enough money to cover fuel because you get no upfront money. We get more offers from brokers than we ever did for a company.
