Go to www.load1.com, on the left you will see a tab for Customers, select that and it will give you the option to Search For A Truck, you can view vehicles from other companies that are with Alliance.

Awesome link! Im guessing you should probably get all the info you can out of it before John Elliot reads this thread...lol

I wonder about John's reaction also, but is just a pass through link, I think.

Should not cause him any grief, but I'm willing to be corrected.

Good info though!

Why would anyone be upset about a link drawing people (potential customers and owner operators) to use their web site?
Sounds to me like it was a smart move to put the link on there.

A few years back Bolt had the same kind of info on their site...I was with E-1 back then.....a few of us used it to see where other trucks were.....E-1 then unlisted all their trucks from the site to keep the big SECRET....
This of course happened before they caved in and gave us macro 19...
Amazing thing happened after they did...the daily load count went up....as the fleet used the info the relocate better..and the amount of calls dropped in dispatch....

Note..NO Panther, Fedex or LS trucks are listed.....or any other carriers not with the Alliance.

Thats a good point. HS also told me today that JE actually posted the link on EO himself once, so apparently he sees no harm in others using it..

I can see it being a recruiting tool for sure. As a salesman told me once "we call it planting seeds, some will grow".

Ya see John has been doing expediting officially for 6 years only.....and he doesn't know any better..:p.the other carriers haven't versed him..to hide, cheat and lie....John is transparent as daylight...he sees no reason why not to give out this info....In 14 months I;ve not caught John in one lie...it is not his style....what you see is really what you get...

You don't realize how large of an operation John has going until you look at the truck site. I was looking in my area and there is about 125 trucks within 100 miles. That blows my mind. I also did not realize the amount of C/Vans he has. No wonder he doesn't want anymore. I would guess his Sprinters get loaded before the C/Vans if not just because the customer requests them. They request them even if they can load it on something else. It also seems as though John is wanting more straights because his fleet looks alittle top heavy with C/V's. Just going by what I see on the list. Great tool for the customer though.:D

Well Sport,

I hate to burst your bubble .... but it lists all Alliance vehicles - not just Load 1's .....

Thanks for sharing the keen insight tho' .....

Landstar is not a member .... to the best of my knowledge .... but one of our agents is.

I found my Sprinter on there .... and it seems to update ...

What a great tool for a Landstar BCO, to see the saturation in different places.

the other day I thought I was all alone....well the only Load 1 sprinter did a search and Wow....over 100 other Cv's and sprinters....no wonder they had a hard time bidding a load at a decent rate...
