Logo on Van

Hi, I am new to this forum and have a question regarding a logo that my carrier is going to put on my Van. Does that mean that the vehicle exterior will be repainted or something. And what happens to the logo when the carrier changes in the future? Who takes care of removing it. Thanks

If you go with someone like fedup your vehicle will nearly be recovered. It goes away, prolly the round file. YOU do.

Most if not all are Vinyl lettering and can be removed, most likley by you with out too much trouble. The bigger the Logo the more work removing it.

At most companies you do not have to put the company logo all over your van. You can go with the small door signs. This though can lower the percent you will get for your percentage of the load pay.

You are responsible for taking the signs off and often will not receive your escrow money back until you prove the logo is off the side of your van.

When I left Panther, they charged me for "removal of decals" (don't remember how much) and all they removed were the DOT numbers - I took the other 175 pieces of vinyl off myself. To be fair, though, the charge was refunded after I complained. Their explanation was that a charge is levied if you leave within a certain time.

Last Company I was leased to allowed me to put the logo on magnets, under a load slapped them on, running empty took them off. When I left that carrier I just handed in my magnet signs,

Lucky for me the four carriers I run for, do not make me put signs on my van, unless I'm going into an airport for a recovery piece, or a place like Caterpillar or John Deere. Otherwise they feel it's nobodies business what I'm doing on the road.....I don't get compensated anymore for advertising their company on my truck!
