Can someone tell what the formula for figuring the load weight displacement on a 22 box on a single rear axle. I was told that one of the pros at expediting came up with a formula. Thanks,Chuck.

Yeah, what Jack said. Every truck loads differently. Mine is very heavy on the front axle so, as much as possible, we load to the back of the truck. We do have a lift axle and use it starting at about 3500lbs.

You need to know the empty weights on the truck and each axle. That should be weight with full fuel tanks, all your gear for the road AND any and all drivers who will be in the truck. It all adds up.

After you know that information you will have a much better idea how to load.

Find Doc Rushing under the community tab, then members. Then, search his posts. He's got an excellent one on this subject.

That's it. I was too lazy to look it up on the phone, and didn't have the 'puter open.

Thanks, Greg.
