Have any of you had any experience with these load lock bars:

Specifically the "Smart Bar" made by this company is the one we are interested in. We have E Tracks and we need to pick up a couple more load lock bars and these look pretty good. Any thoughts? Thanks. india

Look pretty weak there India. Looks like they'd be pretty bendy with a little weight behind them and a quick brake. I'd stick with e-trac.

I agree they look flimsy. I'd stick with the true e-track bars.

India, those are load bars that are used in tractor/trailer vans. I don't know if you have a reefer box or not, but I wouldn't use them in a reefer box. When used correctly, they will expand the sides of the trailer in order to have enough pressure to hold the load. We used them when we were in T/T and they will bend and break. I'd stick with E-trac, and the load bars and or straps, it's a much better system.

e track load bars?

I have shoring bars that I use with my e track. Are they what you are talking about?

I have used this exact load bar. Have had problems with the bumper jack style tightening system.
The old round style available is less expensive and works better for me.
I pull a refer (no E track)and found that the large butterfly style bars work the best as it distributes the load better.(sometimes refered to as Produce Locks). These bars are usually found at trailer repair/supply places never seen any at a truck stop.

The ad copy says Smartbars are designed for use with a flexible trailer wall, so I wouldn't use it either.
