just splittin' hairs here, but with the run paying $3600.,even if you where on the shippers property when you got the load dispatch, it would only be $2.36 per mile.

Well, once you get into trucks that are dock high, there is a massive difference between spring and air ride. We've stacked cases on casters three high in an air-ride truck with minimal strapping just to keep the top case from falling. 1100 miles later, the case wheels had never even bounced from the recesses in the case below it. I doubt that even a sprinter could boast that lack of freight shifting in 1100 miles.
