Look I think it is great when people can make THEIR bussiness work for them. I also think we should not take cheap shots or be rude.Not too long ago Bolt was the place for the best longest loads, so I read (

Based only on the number of posts about them, I would have to say three or four thousand.
One thing I noticed before I made the jump was that the people who were "chearleading", were not newbies... everyone thinks that first company is gonna be awesome. When guys who'd 'been around' told me they loved it... thats why I tried it.

I agree Load 1 is a great company, but is it really necessary to start a new thread almost everyday to say how great a company they are to work for? When I see a thread entitled Load 1 I hope to see something interesting and new about the company.
(I'm sure I will catch some flak for this post, but the endless cheerleading is getting monotonous.)

There aren't any expedite companies out there 10 times larger. Five times larger would be a stretch.
From an outsiders view I think he runs a pretty good Company.
Thank you. We get some negative. I hope our guys work with us to get negatives corrected vs venting here. Keeping an open channel of communication helps to give everyone the chance to turn negatives around. We are far from perfect and we have our warts, but like other good companies we know this and work to improve.

I would say 98 percent I ever heard from current and past drivers has always been positive. I myself have very little if any negative comments about the company. They keep me busy I make good money here compared to what I made with panther and my old shipping and receiving job so I'm happy
I called them snooty and snotty because they (many of them, not all) projected a clear attitude that they were somehow better than other expediters. They were royalty and the rest of us were mere peasants. They were snooty about it, and plain snotty most of the time because they thought their crap didn't stink. It actually had nothing to do with the cheerleading at all. It was an attitude I encountered at the truckstops more than here online.
As for the current crop of cheerleaders, if I were still at Panther I'd say the same thing about them that I did when I was at Panther, and the same thing I'll say again, that they're not snooty and snotty, but they are certainly annoying, because they project an inaccurate picture of the Load 1, and that's not the right thing to do to people who are thinking about changing carriers.
I don't know I haven't seen anything the last 4-6 weeks that paints a tainted picture....everyone is sitting, making so so money.....some are doing well...some not so well....I think it has been toned down considerably since the beginning....Maniac just got overly excited as usual...LOL

Sure we have complaints, but nothing that will cause too many of us to leave, and ye people have come and left, but if you talk to the mojority of them, they still dont have too much to say negative about the company.
As pointing out negatives because John is an active member here, come on...read our forum, we have people vent but not to the point that it is anything that cant be talked about anywhere else...and speaking of talking to management, more so the owner..how many here working for any of the mid sze on up carriers can sit at breakest or lunch and jusy bs or work on isses with the owner??? We can, and often do..there is more about Load 1 then just us making good money and driving less to make it....yea we all get crappy loans just like everyone else..and we might get dispatched around every once in a while...but there is a different approuch to doing business at Load 1 that comes from the top down and is in every dept..dispatch isn't on one side or the other..safety is looking to bust your chops and will work with you to correct issues...John provides thing at the yard to save us money and cost him money...i could wash my truck everyday if i were in the yard and so could every ST or Tractor..and not just water, pre-wash soak, soap, hot water, and brushes to do the job and high pressure wahers...it cost me $15-25 bucks to wash my truck on the road...its free at the yard...and as i said, i can do it everyday if i were there...Little thing that add up...I was at Bolt for just short of 4 yrs..I couldnt get passed the drivers lounge without an escort..not even to the offices...I wouldnt know the owner (Ben) if he walked up to me today, never met him, let alone had breakfest or lunch with him...I did well there and still send new people to talk to Anne...bit its not Load 1...
So yea, alot of us cheerlead, it is what it is..and we appreciate all that John does for us and the opportunity to lease to them....

I dont understand how some people can get tired of people happy about the company they work for. I see more posts about politices and peoples children and they get a lot of posts. If people dont like it, read another thread. Thats when I do when I see the political stuff. No harm, no foul.
