OMG! We actually just had someone call our office who drives for another carrier mad at us for the change? If you don't trust you dispatch is running trucks in the right order than maybe you aren't with the right carrier?

I went over to the Load-1 site when John posted about the revamping of it. Saw the Truck link. I have another way of seeing trucks that still have the numbers...for now. Went back to take another look, and the way it is now is the same way it was with Bolt, before they had pressure to take some units off. "We didn't want them inflating their truck count with ours"

I'm sure if all could see their own truck numbers, they can use that to increase their revenue there-by increasing carrier revenue. I know mine has. Better than Mac19, and without limits of use. It is a good tool, but someone wants to control us....keep us in the dark.

Mac19 example. I was in Columbia, SC, did a Mac19 #1 out 75 miles. Did a Mac 19 in Rock Hill, SC, less than 75 miles and I was 5th out? Got myself on the internet and noticed that if I moved to Rock Hill I would be south of the other units. Went up there and got a nice 600 mile run 40 miles away. Yeah, keep me in the dark!

Please do not ask how I can do this. I'm trusted, and I do not want to betray that trust.

Full disclosure: I own no Stock in Betrayed Trust- not anymore, I told one, then all knew!

All the same information is there, just not the unit numbers. This way a carrier can not be identified if people know their numbering system. Mac 19 is a good tool, not always perfect but another tool in the toolbox. Most carriers do not seem to want to give out that info.

I needed to be home last Fri., for something and I ask dispatch, where are the loads comming from that goes to Olive Branch, RoseMark, and Jackson,Tn even a few to Memphis? I'll dead head there just to get a load home. Hummm, how do you know we had loads going there? Well they got me one over the weekend and I am very greatful for that.

To me, I can get on Load-1 and see my unit types, (really don't need unit numbers), I can see if the other Sprinters are under 12 feet of cargo, less lbs than me. Puts me in the running for a load, who ever the carrier is, matters not.

Thanks John for having it there without having to have a user name and/or password.

Ditto, John. And surely it weren't me. But it was like taking my blankey away.
