That is the problem...you need 50 G's to get 1 credit...it takes a sprinter 3 fills to get that....we'd have to run darn near empty just to make it twice...How so, OVM? I would think their Expediter version of their UltraOne card would make it way easier for u van drivers, not being able to put 50 gallons in at a time.
Just wondering.

At the Pilot Flying J, when you get anywhere between 14 and 49 gallons in a fillup, you get ½ shower credit that is good for 5 days. You stop twice, getting 14 gallon each time, the two ½ credits equals a full shower credit.
$3.80 a gallon cash price, 28 gallons = $106.40 spent to get the free shower. Minus the $10 free shower, is $96.40, divided by 28 gallons is $3.44 per gallon, a savings of 36 cents per gallon.
At the TA it takes three 17-gallon fillups to get one shower credit that lasts 10 days.
$3.80 a gallon cash price, 50 gallons = $190.00 spent to get the free shower. Minus the $10 free shower, is $180.00, divided by 50 gallons is $3.60 per gallon, a savings of 20 cents per gallon.
To further monkey wrench the works, if you are with Load 1 and use the Fleet Card, not only do you get an additional 5 cents per gallon off the cash price at the Pilot Flying J, but it also gets you a full shower credit with a mere 15 gallons. Three fillups, three showers.
$3.80 a gallon cash price, minus the 5 cent per gallon discount, 15 gallons = $56.25 spent to get the free shower. Minus the $10 free shower, is $46.25, divided by 15 gallons is $3.08 per gallon, a savings of 72 cents per gallon.
There ya go.

Now if you could only make it so that I didn't have to go in the store 3 times to fill up my tank once, I'd be in heaven. Ok, maybe its only 2.5 on average, its still annoying.
Usually this is my routine at pilot / flying J's.
park at rv islands / auto diesel, go in, give fleet card, make sure they know what your talking about, aka turn on the pump out front, go outside, start to fuel up, 50% of the time, they get sidetracked, forget about you, start washing floors / picking their noses, so you have to go back inside to remind them to turn you on, then go out fuel up and come back in and do paperwork.
Your card doesn't work at the pump?

Isn't it amazing that a company the size of Load 1 can negotiate a deal like they have with Pilot/Flying J and the really big companies cannot. (Or won't bother) It shows who cares about there contractors.
