Her "principles" were nothing more than personal animus towards Trump and his supporters. If Liz Cheney hadn't been set up as a Nancy Pelosi stooge to be the face of the Republican Party on the Jan 6 committee, her defeat would've only been a blip on the political radar. She would've been defeated anyway because she hadn't done a damn thing to represent the interests of her constituents in Wyoming. The voters said as much in polling before and after the election. She's just another insignificant politician.
