Here are a few shots of a day at Huntington Beach. It was a perfect day all the way arround, warm enough to swim and as the day wound down and cooled off the fire pits on the beach came in quite handy. With a bit of planning we had everything we needed for a great day and night at the beach. Fire wood can be purchased at the beach but I would recomend getting it at the grocery store, its cheaper, split and dried.

I like the cooking in the firepit thing you got going on.......

What's all there? I see a couple of potatos, corn on da cob, but what else is there?

Here's an idea for firepit-aluminum foil cooking. Make a huge pattie out of ground beef, add some onions, bell peppers, thinly sliced peeled potatos, season with whatever you want (salt-pepper-oregano-celantro-worcester sauce-anything), wrap real good with foil and place in fire for about 30-45 minutes. Some of the best "Camping" food I've ever made.

Give it a try, if that's not what's in that pit already.;)

;)

Veggies(carrots, summer squash, zucchini and taters), venison, steak (beef). The fire pit's line the beach, big concrete rings about 20 feet spacing between them. GREAT way to spend the day.
