We are in Denver heading for VA. OH GOODY! Give me a nice blizzard any day over spring/summer nasties. A hurricane got me once and a hail storm got me the second time. Never had a problem in winter.

Great. Jeff is in SW KY with the Sprinter...same Sprinter who just got repaired after it was in a bad storm 6 weeks ago.

Hope he can get away before they move in on him. If not, please, Lord, spare Jeff...but total the Sprinter this time. Thank you.

If you are in or traveling through Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska or Iowa now (16:00 Central Time, Saturday), or know someone who is, be sure to check the weather. This is a very dangerous storm that can produce long tracking tornadoes, similar to the storm of March 2 that killed 12 people. Tornadoes are on the ground now in some locations. Check the weather and be safe.

Seventeen tornadoes have been counted by the National Weather Service by 4:40 p.m. Central Time. No injuries in the sparsely populated areas where the tornadoes developed. The storm will continue to produce tornadoes through the night, forecasters say.

We are stopped in Junction City, KS. Tornadoes all around. What fun! We SHOULD have postponed this load, or at least stopped a hundred miles west of here. One tornado past about 3-4 miles from us. Shut down for the night.
