I took the OP as a parody. Not an actual Letterman Top 10 list, but an imitation. In each of the statements in the top ten list, there is an element of truth in all of them. Muttly rates it as : PARTIALLY TRUE

I'm sure Letterman has at least 10 important to him but possibly less accurate reasons why he votes Democrat, just not those 10.
