I am waiting to hear what my congressman said. When he called me tonight he was under the impression that the prof had been fired and that the news reports were incorrect. He is going to email me with more info, either way, when he gets it.

The LESS congress does, the better. They are so far beyond the Constitution now the ONLY thing left for them to do is say that it no longer exists and they are now in control. They need to go away.

You have not read much about what I have said about my state rep over the last few years. He ALWAYS calls me when I write or email him. Every time. I have told him, multiple times what I think of politicians. I have also told him that he is going to give politicians a bad name by responding to those he works for.

I email, call, and write ALL my elected officials on a regular basis, INCLUDING King Putz the 1st. My state rep is the ONLY one who ALWAYS responds. My state senator USED to respond, but he has gone over to the "Dark Side". I expect him to run for National level office soon. He would fit right in.


You are also taking the remark about "doing nothing" out of context. That remark was made in a thread about the US congress. I believe, and always have, that the power belongs at the state and local level. Most of what the feds do is overstepping their constitutional bounds.

Sorry, my mistake. This situation is with the MSU prof is a state, not a federal, problem. All who work at state schools are state employee's and are paid with state tax dollars. It is the job of our state reps to handle these things.


He is also out of office at the end of this term. We passed term limits in Michigan years ago.

IF he emails me the additional information I will post it in here. He does, however, almost always calls.

He is from a VERY small town, the entire township has less than 5000 people in it. He is in his 60's, a successful small business man.
