Labor day

What are you doing for this labor day weekend? I am helping hubby do pm's and hand wash & wax a couple of our trucks. Going to visit my parents on Sunday. Hopefully have everything all caught up by Monday so that we can do a little fishing and relax for once.

On the way home I will pass the 300k mark on the odometer so, time to get my hands dirty.

Brakes, shocks, fuel filter, air filter, transmission service, rear end service. Oh yeah.

We are going to be driving across the desert from Ontario, CA to Nogales, AZ and then on to El Paso. What fun.

EDIT: The load canceled so we are back in Ontario waiting again. If we don't get anything today we plan on renting a car and going to see some of the "sights". Not much of a "holiday" but could be worse I guess.

Funny story, I'm orginally from the west coast, but moved to Indiana in '99. I was headed down to Nashville, Indiana with my Wife, from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She told me to head for Columbus and proceeded to take a nap. She woke up just as we were passing the Welcome to Ohio sign. She had meant Columbus, Indiana.

I didn't know there was a Columbus Indiana
