It's pretty bad when the VERY liberal L.A. Times is calling Obama's RECORD deficit excessive. He's so out there they couldn't even bash Bush... "The projected deficit for 2012 stands at $557 billion in the new report, which still will represent a larger dollar figure than any deficit the former administration projected in setting its own records during the eight years of George W. Bush's presidency."

White House predicts budget deficit to grow to $1.84 trillion this year - Los Angeles Times

The last 18 months of Pelosi Congress releasing the brakes and applying more throttle certainly hasn't helped nor has the last 4-5 years of Pelosi/Frank et al ignoring the warnings and requests of the Republicans to do something about Fannie/Freddie well before the crash when there was time to potentially avoid or at least lessen the damage. Bush's administration was flawed in several ways and was about a C/C- but even with the majority until the last 2 years it had lots of obstruction in the back room. The F/F debacle is probably the biggest problem and that's on Pelosi/Frank et al not on Bush. This is on Obama not on Bush. Obama has come in with the ultimate liberal it's only money and we're the government we have unlimited supplies ideology and taken this far beyond where momentum demanded. You are right about the momentum but you're seeing the tinted version.

Bush was about a c or c-???? Forget the Koolade what are you smoking! George W. Bush's legacy will read as one of the most failed presidencys of all time, and you can take that to the bank.

Obama inherited much of what is going to cause this deficit in 2012. Debt is like a freight train. It takes a he*ll of a lot to get it rolling, but once it's rolling it takes a he*ll of a lot to slow it down. Most of what got it rolling happened the past 8 years.

The only thing Obama inherited was from Saul Alinsky. THAT'S the reason he is throwing this much money at something that could take little or no money to do.

I'll be the 1st ti say that bush spent like a lib, and that all of it was approved by nancy and her crew......as for the bank bailouts that bush swore we needed to stop the failing of our economy....even while he was on the way out, he gave the power to barrys minions, the bailout that was designed whiloe bush was in office was done totally by Turbo Tax Tim, after barry went to bush and convinced hom that he needed his guy to do it........

now his budget is so over the top and the stimulus, that they admit isn't working as planned...he has spend 4 times what every president before him has spent together.....barry owns this mess now, its all his...the left can get off the "bush caused it" and "barry inherited it" wagon now....its barrys train....and it is going run off the track before we all die and your kids and grand kids will be paying for it with higher taxes.......

I seriously doubt he will have that honor. Although I didn't like all of his decisions, at least he made them. Good or bad he stuck by what he believed. Obama is a back peddling puppet that will do little good for our country.
If it were up to me, the whole bunch in DC would be gone, and I will do what I can to make sure that happens in the next election.
