I am about to start driving for a company that uses these trucks, 07,08 models. Can anyone tell me how spacious the sleeper area is...like, is there room to place a Coleman Powerchill up right somewhere and not have it on the floor?
Also any info on noted quirks or defects or driving tips to look for in these models would be appreciated!

If it is a red KW the sleepers are 87" and fairly spacious.
Search this site for Expediter Services and you should find out a lot about there trucks.

And some EO'ers know what you had for supper last night. Be careful what you're thinking when sitting in front of your computer. Ha! Ha!

It also depends on who the truck is least to.We drove the big red truck leased on with Express-1.It was small 64-72" no tv no microwave very small fridge no side boxes. After nine weeks of smelling someone elses dog! We found a new fleet owner to drive for.

they are 86" slprs. and not all the red kw for es are 86" they have 72's also but for fleet trks. they are good starters. you can make them nice on your own. i would think they all have small fridges in them. they may not provide tv and micro. best bet is to call them and get a definative answer on what is in the trk they are going to put you in and what kinda storage it has. they should know how important this info is for a driver.

As was told to me by the recruiter at ES, "if you drive one of trucks for Fedex you get a 86" sleeper but if you drive one our trucks with E-1 or Panther you will get at 72" sleeper as a general rule"

We have an 86" and we have made it work. The only thing we dont like is the space in the cab and the space to go from the cab to the sleeper, even my wife ( tall/slender) dosnt care for it.
