hey i run a compamy truck i perfer it they pay for everything my first truck they have dome almost 6000$ of work the bunk heater and controll panel alternator and battries and oil changes and they pay for all the fuel ac unit condensor
solo is not as profitable as team and it loney by your self if you can find a team driver it is better expecially if is you life partner

The best advice to give you is to read these forums including the archives. Usually a team is more successful, but asking which company is like asking, which flavor. Alot of variables come into play to determine a actual income. Do the appropriate reseach and then ask specific questions. Also keep in mind there are several EO workshops coming up that would also be worth attending.

Read the Archives like Dave suggested: Than find owners of Vans who have done what you want to do that have been successfull.
Seriously, people who drive there own Vans cannot make it out there so how you gona find someone or better yet a Team to drive one and let you in on some profits.
Does not take much for a Team to make $ without an owner so how do you plan on keeping them? You know something the rest of us have been searchinbg for?

I didnt know there was enough money in a B unit to split 2 ways let alone 3 ways,plus isnt there a limit to 750 miles a day even with a team in a van,just added my 2 cents,myself,if i didnt have my A license,I would drive a D unit,most likely a DR unit,and yes with a team

I almost leased a Van last year and realize the money isn't there for two people. Let's take a thousand dollars a week, as a reachable figure for a cargo van, and we will do a sixty-forty split which is the norm. Sixty percent goes to the Driver and forty percent to the owner, the driver pays the fuel in these situations.
The Driver gets six hundred dollars and the owner four hundred dollars. Fuel is running thirty-forty percent of your cost so let's split hairs and say thirty-five percent, that takes three hundred fifty from the drivers six hundred and leaves the driver with two-fifty. Living on the road isn't cheap, so let's say the driver is frugal and only spends a hundred dollars a week. This leaves the driver with One hundred and fifty dollars for a weeks worth of work.
The owner out of his four hundred a week has the Qualcomm, Insurance and repairs. In my Opinion there are no winners with split in the cargo van. I used these numbers to make my choice and not lease contract a van last year and stay with my local company.

I don't think i made my self clear when i say CLASS B thats a clss B license, Im not talking about a cargo van. Im talking about a straight tuck.same Questions What cind of money$$$$can i make as a fleet driver? and as a o/o? is it better solo or team

What is a lot? No disrespect, RayJay, but people do not like answering that question. That is because you can put two different drivers in identical trucks with the same carrier and the results can vary a great deal...so much so that one may do very well financially while the other goes broke. It's not about the kind of truck you drive or carrier you run with. It's more about the kind of work ethic and business skills you have.
FedEx Custom Critical is the only carrier I know that publishes its fleet average numbers for various kinds of trucks. Call FedEx recruiting and request a copy of the "Revenue Sheet" as it is informally known. With those numbers in hand, then ask not "How much money can I make?" Ask, "What do I have to know and do to earn an average or better than average income in a straight truck?"
