When looking into company's, we foung Jung only had 10 straight trucks. They also have company drivers.
Does any of this mean anything?

MrandMrs,

I understand your reasoning, and really hope it works out for you. Please understand, we 'preach' research, research, research here... because we've seen people get burnt.

In a perfect scenario, you would have waited to get all the info before you committed...but since you're already there.. I guess you'll find out pretty quickly!

On a side note... if you have no decals, no dot number (which, by the way, is required), no qualcomm installed... it'll be real easy if you decide to switch!

Best of luck.. but if I were you.. I'd still interview other recruiters.. just in case...

My husband had the opportunity to spend some time with a few other expediters from a couple of different companies yesterday. I guess we're finding out how it's supposed to be. We did try to do our research, but it's pretty confusing because there are such different rules for cargo vans than other trucks. We expected to get the info regarding pay etc. from the company. Didn't think we'd have to fight tooth and nail to get it. In hindsight (it's 20/20-lol) we would have interviewed some of their drivers. Maybe with all the posts on this company there is now (wasn't any when we were checking) we'll at least be able to prevent someone else from making our same mistake. Thanks to you all for your input and advice.

Just an update....talked to US DOT this morning...if your gvw is under 10,000lbs. you're not required to have a dot#

Thanks for sharing all of your concerns and problems that you encountered. That is the purpose of this forum,to give information so that others can make decisions. You truly may have helped others to shy away from a company that will not tell you what the pay is and to lie about your freight. Take a trip to Oak Creek WI,many expediters with cargo vans from all of the companies stay there. You can get factual info. If I were running Jung I would look at these comments and say ,Time to change our policies.
