Expert Expediter
Tracy has had an awsome few weeks lately. He had 9 loads last week and he had 6 loads in by Wednesday this week. One being over 900 miles to Mobile Alabama from Michigan. He is still recoupoerating form that one. He had done a short run just before taking that load. He pushed himself to the limiit on Wednesday. He tried to sleep today to recouperate but it was too hot for him to sleep. He has no A/C in van and no generator.
A/C is going to be harder to go without than heat is during the winter I think. I hope to at least get his a/c fixed with this check. We are almost caught up with his good weeks. Since I have been taking care of my mom our income has basically gone in half since I am not working in order to care for my mom.
Tracy is trying to rest tonight while it is cool then go back in service in the a.m. He is currently in Hope Hull, Alabama.
I am hoping he makes it home on Saturday. We have a Bike Run Fundraiser Benefit planned for my mom in order to help pay for her funeral. I was really looking forward to riding in the ride. I can't ride mine since Tracy has it in pieces, because it needs a new part in order to start correctly. I can't ride his becasue it is too big for me. He told me to go ahead and ride his, knowing full well I won't even sit on it, without him. I am not going to crash his bike just because I couldn't touch the ground while trying to balance it, no way! I want to live a little longer thank you very much.
So I will be at the event serving food, and registering people.
If you are in the area, stop by and say hay. The Bike Ride is open to all vehicles, including Expediting Vehicles! We have registration from 10 am -12pm then leaving at 12:30pm.
They will be riding to Napoleon Harley, to Haskins, OH, to Grand Rapids, OH and another place then back to Swanton, OH. The party starts at 5pm. There will be 50/50 raffles at all the stops. You can come for just the party, There will be food, Chicken, Spaghetti, and side dishes, drinks, and a DJ for entertainment.
The cost to get in without being part of the ride is $7.00 covers your dinner and entertainment. There will be more raffles and other fundraising games.
I hope to see a couple of you any way, if possible. If you have a bike and room for a passanger, as long as it is not a crotch rocket, I wouldn't mind a ride in the Bike Run, LOL.
