Good morning gang...should be last day of gravel shoving and raking...Ready for the trailers this weekend!

Got 1 of my new eyeballs installed....gee whiz...while they are close to exact same thing, they just don't pop into place without a little subtle change..the next one should go smoother now I know the tricks...Makes the van look better for sure..Can't wait to get out into the dark with them....

LOL, got to my delivery at 0800 est, which was my protect time...I now know why they didnt want me there until 0800-0900 Texas time... they are dock high only and have to wait for the company next door to open and do them a favor and unload CV's when they have time....So an hour 15 minutes later...

Then i get a few phone calls wanting my eta to my "pre-dispatched load that had the same pu time as my drop time....its only 22 miles , ill be there in a half hour..lol..another call has I pull in the drive...walk in to see the dock supervisor and get my freight....nope, "its still in the trailer"...give me 30-60 minutes...

So...i was on time at both places... i was held up to the tune of 2 .5 hours total...guess who will be late for his delivey....in Lafayette La....:D

I dont have a clock...is it 8:00 yet?

Load cancelled yesterday, so hoping for something out of Laredo today. Yesterdays load went to Arlington. I would prefer something different but I wouldnt turn it down if they send me back over for the same one.

Hope everyone is running hard :)

Steve.... there was still water in the river.

What I "heard" was the driver was shaken up but is doing fine. Of course this was 3rd party info. I hope all is well.

If your doing laundry at the yard you might be 1st out when its done...that is the slowest washer and dryer I have ever used, but the price is right...lol

John..do you use the normal cycle or heavy wash cycle the 56 minute cycle?...I use the light soil cycle...only 32 minutes...since our clothes are not really dirty, mostly just sweaty...

I guess that was the problem I had last time. I left the settings as they were from the last user. Something like 90 minutes...lol. I'll adjust it next time.
