WE BE HOME! The truck goes in the shop Tuesday for repairs to the hail damage. The AC will be looked at as well as the APU.

Take cover big storms headed your way I am hiding in motel in St louis. I think the motel will hold up better than my sprinter if it gets really bad
I have a friend that was there years ago and his dispatch had him in Mich. Their screw up and they got pizzed at him! I think they saw Troy and didn't look close enough.
Well, I made it to Vegas, just waiting to drop at midnight.

I was on my way from Kansas City to Lincoln Nebraska last Sunday night, I barely rolled through York Nebraska on Monday headed for Sacramento on Monday afternoon and was 9 miles from a confirmed tornado on the ground in Takiro IA. Then there was a whole bunch of tornadic activity in Nebraska the next day as well. I drove in some stuff that would make an anverge California boy defecate on himself!
That same week I drove through intense storms on Monday night headed to Florissant, MO which is close to ST Louis, and then had storms roll in that Tuesday night at midnight. It seems that I can't avoid the weather no matter where I am at unless I am home for a few days. I am here in Southern California until Tuesday morning, avoiding the severe weather and ejoying the 74 degree weather. Don't need a heater or an air conditioner here!!! I hope you all stay safe out there in them storms. You have it right, a hotel is safer than the van, just make sure you get the center of the hotel and a room on the ground floor. Let the top floor get sucked into the vortex first, lol.

Yeah driving a Sprinter. Had some storms I guess out in Evansville last night and slept right through it.
