Cranked up the Honda Generators and yep, Air Conditioning worked fine. I think due to it being run for days down in Laredo temps made it ice over and that's why there were some drips from the inside too.
I'm draining the engine oil to change it now.
I still am interested in hearing from anyone who had a "Hard Start Capacitor" wired on. I've been told I don't need BOTH Honda 2000's (4,000 Watts) to run my 13,500 BTU Roof Top Air Conditioner. My 2011 research said I needed 3500 Watts to run the AC and not Bottom out.
What type of Capacitor would you advise I purchase? I appreciate anyone's help, knowledge from what they use.

On your journey connect with an RV dealer they can get you situated .. Not 100% you still won't need both gennys but you can try

Here is the capacitor you would want to try:

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=361186962694&globalID=EBAY-US

Only 2 wires to install, make sure that the filter and coil are clean, if not it has a small leak and will probably freeze up the next time it has to run hard.

Leaks are easy to spot on those units pop the cover off and spray everything down with soapy water and watch for bubbles. Usually they are easy to fix also unless they are right in the middle of the condenser or evaporator.

An icing problem is usually caused by lack of air flow, make sure filters are clean and intake vents.

I am running a Dometic 14000 btu split system with one Honda eu2000i with ECO throttle on under the following conditions: Temp set to lowest, eco off until compressor cycles then set to eco on. I get about 5 hrs run time. I am going to install a hard start capacitor when I get home. Will parallel with existing capacitor (2 wire system). http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0N5VSQBCX0PAXSX77XE1 I hope this will allow me to set temp to normal and let the AC cycle accordingly.

This was a temporary setup until I get my regular gen repaired, but I like the results and meager fuel burn so much that I may make this permanent.
Edit: I have run it this way for over 200 hrs now.

Gosh, thanks everyone for your info, links and input. I'll figure out how to remove the interior cover, remove the filter, wash and dry it.
With my Eco ON and the Honda 2000 wired to the other Honda 2000 Companion, I'm getting about 8-9 hours of run time for my Air Conditioner.
With my 30amp hook Up at the Laredo State Park the AC was running non-stop for maybe 40-48 hrs..
I am TOTALLY clueless as to where exactly I cut and splice the 2 wires from this small, new capacitor I need to order onto. So this little DO HICKY will allow me to NOT need those extra 1500 Watts to run my AC? I'll be able to remove one Generator? I have no electrical/mechanical knowledge. I learned to change my Sprinter Filters via FB.
I may need to take it to an RV Business to install it for me...if they will.
Time to get Maggie over to the vet for her annual shots...lol and me mine if she has a cancellation.
Always something...endless "To Do" list. Wouldn't have it any other way. I think.

Great information, thanks for the details.

Thank you, I appreciate your information...the cover just POPS off or...I'm going to have to get my extension ladder out and get up there and see what tools I need to remove it. I know I can order a can of the R410A Freon with a Gauge....but also have absolutely no idea what to do or how. Maybe I can find it on a UTube so I know what to even look for. Don't want to make things worse or damage anything. May need professional help.

There are excellent youtube videos on how to install the hard start capacitor. The common theme is the most difficult part is getting the cover on the roof off. This will not guarantee fluid operation with one genny but many have found it successful. I am really sold on these little generators....

Many people on EO and out otr when they see I carry the 2 Honda Generators, ask "WHY do I have 2 Gens to run the AC?" Well, everything I read in Manuals and Online said I needed a min. of 3500 Watts (as it cycles, so that it doesn't bottom out) to run the 13,500K BTU AC. Then people on EO AND other otr Drivers said ALL I NEED is a "Hard Start Capacitor" and I won't need a second Generator. AWESOME, Great! Less Gas, Maintenance, Oil Changes, Less weight on the rear swing out! Super!
Today, here, is the first I'm hearing "not 100% certain" and so I'm beginning to doubt the reason why I should go to the expense and hassle of wiring one on. So this Capacitor MAY NOT enable me to only be able to run one single 2000 watt Generator? Therefore I question purchasing one. LOVE knowledge and appreciate others personal shared experience very much!
