Every time I see pictures of your Maggie I see our Sammi. They look exactly alike! Same coloring, same face, same longer legs. The only difference is that Maggie looks about 3 pounds chunkier than Sammie at her heaviest. But hey, we all put a few pounds while on the road. Sammi never came out with me but she would have been a great road dog. Lyla our current dog would not do well on the road. She's too hyper and a butt bitter. She has a attempted to butt bite two expediters, BillG and ScottM. I think she did get a piece of Scott's butt. Nothing that couldn't be buffed out though.
She missed me! I never turned my back on her and we did fine. I had a dog almost the same way, friendly until you turned away and started walking. Would bite guests ankles. LOL

A Butt Biter...Lyla, a female? Is she a Herder, or why is she nippy? Curious....Funny! It was really neat to see Maggie's sibling in Sammi!

Only 5 3/4 hrs. Left till we're home! Been driving since 7:15CT.
Load delivers Monday Mornin to Clyde, OH..
Oil change, tires rotated n balanced, mow the grass, laundry, watch some Golf tomorrow & the Cavs Game and see if Wayne is available for the Air Conditioner.
Strange, normally by yesterday he'd have answered my email. Hope all is well with he and his family!
Hey, does anyone here have a hard start capacitor?

When I delivered and picked up down in Laredo...it was pretty cute and kinda funny. I've never been asked this so often before anywhere in my short 5 years of Commercial Driving. "Are you a Solo Driver?!" or when they see what they called Maggie "my Alarm!" Ha!
...or "Oh!! You drive by yourself!"
I answered nicely, "no, I drive with my Dog!" Tractor Trailer, Box Truck or Sprinter...I've never been alone. How often do you ask males if they drive alone, I say with a nice, normal voice and smile. They just look at me blankly like I'm ET. I just wanted to kinda put that thought in their minds. It's driving, not Rocket Science, I'm thinking. All done and said in good spirit! Nice people down south too. Truly. But that heat man, between 12 and 6. I'm a wimp!

and that right there is 1 reason why I won't have a pet with me on the road....I'd love to have a dog..I've considered it many a time....I don't even have one on the homestead for fear I'll try to bring it with me on the road....and besides that I need a medium to larger dog. my preference....SD winters are hard on small dogs...

There are some down sides ..but the good sure outweighs the bad...

Oh yea totally white, when we got him as a pup he would just disappear, under the couch, bed, chair, he was like a ghost, so Kasper was his name.
very suiting. How old is he? How's his hearing and sight may I ask? Very thick, fluffy coat it looks like! Breed is?
