As many Companies that are now jumping into Expedite the Price is hitting Rock bottom not what it was. The Freight is so water down that Fleet Owners are going under right and left. The would be Price of that which was 3.30 3.70 a mile TVAL freight seem to be a thing of the past. Water down fright Good Golly all Mighty how would have thought that a Tractor Expedited TVAL Freight would be 1.66 a mile. That is 0 Dead Head. Really you got to be kidding. When Freight Rates drop to Low like that. Unless Ur the Owner on the Truck taking the load, most likely the truck going to sit. Company Trucks will roll Examples like Prime , Pride , Schneider, US Express, doing Drop and Hook or Dedicated Runs. But the Average Expediter driving for an owner will mostly sit. If Freight rates don't take around turn and go back up to what they should be. When Trucks start breaking down and Fuel keeps climbing along with tolls companies that are nothing but brokers well they will have to step up and by Tractors (Powers) to do the work or they will cease to exist. The other case would be they broker the work to other carriers. I know of 2 right now that are doing Drop and hook. Sad day it was when I was at Service area and I was asked if I knew about winged horse that snouts Louisville getting bout out I said do tell Yup they sure did. The old theory of 2 men and a Truck to make money that's gone. more like it will be company trailers being drop and hooked, to customers or 2 the yards to be yard Jockey to the business they need to go 2. Far as long runs most likely it will 500 2 550 mile relays till the trailer makes it example Cost to coast. That's what I see and it will be Company trucks not OOPS. unless they are running single and the Price is right. The biggest Blow to expedite is the underbidding. I guess its easy to low bid loads if your sitting behind a desk and your a broker. Got to think about the big picture will the contractors run the freight for Free? Because TOLLS NY PA OH IN NJ DE MD NY CT NH all over Priced. Freight should pay at a min for Dry 2.00 all miles and 100% Tolls on top of that. Refer Freight should pay a min 2.65 all miles and 100% tolls on top of that. That's Prices for Cross Country Run. To run in NY NJ CT MD DE PA ME NH VT areas East Coast the Freight should pay 3.30 a mile for DRY and 100% TOLLS and Reefer 3.70 a Mile and 100% Tolls. Detention should start after the 1st hour your there. Yup when contractors figure out that getting paid less now to run freight then what they got back in 1978 1979 and 80s Hmmm Need I say more. Nope If your Trucks paid off and your Trailer if you single u might be able to make it. If your making Payments and Solo first big break down your sunk. warranty ? depends. Team? Run Run RUN Like no tomorrow and hope 4 no major BD. No! the Rates most definitely got to come up to survive out here . The other big Expense Health Care Dental and Eating on the road. Yes Fuel Tolls Parts all have went UP! UP! UP Food! Showers! Up ! Price of Freight Down if this was the stock market Id ask did it Crash! http://www.overdriveonline.com/rates-continue-to-trend-positively-in-all-three-truckload-segments/ 10177422_10152749180059481_8666693133219323094_n.jpg 10155240_482758401827600_8891988862274511899_n.png 10999323_879762568752319_7461219177292954020_nLANDED.jpg 10801944_10152626548230000_8147397794159447703_n.jpg

He runs dedicate out of MS. saw him often, said he has been very happy ever since the switch.
