Best o' luck to you in your return to the often wacky world of expediting. I agree with Mailer; would be interesting to hear about your transition out of, and back into, expediting.

Lol. Thanks yes we are a couple, my Wife and I made the transition out to open a bar the adult kind lol. Got tired of that after several years. That business is profitable but burns you out! We then decided not to go back to the suit and tie or corporate 9 to 5 so here we are back on the road where we can get paid to see our wonderful country again!

Beside starting another business, are there any other driving related issues that you decided to switch. We both have corporate backgrounds and neither of us want that again. We are still considering starting another business but we love being on the road together. We have never been afraid to take on a new venture and having the experience in driving OTR in this business made the decision to transition back a little easier. If you can take the bad with the good you can make it in almost any business..

Thanks for sharing GOGETTER. I thought about taking on the non-driving business too. But I'm afraid the road will call me back; I might as well stay put and enjoy the drive. I guess it's in the blood now, lol.
