Ok. So I'm here at home and the van is sitting at the yard in Buchanan. I've been thinking about putting a driver in the van at the yard since it's just sitting there making me no money. I'm just at a loss as to how to direct deposit money into another driver's bank account without spending 22$ on a wire transfer. I've got TAB bank still, and I called them and don't have many options with that. I just hope this all works out and I'll have to fix the A/C before I put a driver in that vehicle.

TJ, you want a good pizza dinner.....take 29 north of town and get off at exit 9 a-b Barry Rd..go west 200 yards Name of the place is Minskys....great pizza....
If you're ever in Gary by the TA on Burr St. Try Rico's Pizza. It's in that little plaza across the street. It's not the snazziest looking place for sure, but their pizza is awesome. A little pricier, but well worth it.

open a checking account at bank that has direct depoit..have E 1 deposit into that account...have your driver open an account with the same bank listing you as a siger on the account.....you can then transfer money into his account online...no cost , i do it 3 4 times a week with my driver and my kids..

there are times when I wish I could sell it. Still got 24 months left with Ford Motor Credit.

What about one of these new guys that just wants to try out the industry? You can collect enough to cover your expenses just so it is not a net loss each month. I would get one of the fleet owners here to help with a contract or hire a lawyer.

Im confused, You own a van that you are making payments , And you are driving someone elses Sprinter? Now you want to put a driver in your van? How do you expect to come out in the Plus side? Why are you not driving the van you are paying for? How can you drive on a split and make a van payment and make enough to pay you enough to be out on the road?? What am I missing??

Your answer is in post #184.

I'm at the Saginaw J, ready to get back at it after an awesome vacation. It was the most time I've taken off in many, many moons, and it felt great!

Down here in Laredo @ the TA. About to go take a shower then go into town for a bit, then lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Real mission of the day is keeping cool while waiting on a load.

Has anyone seen my van? Oh wait, it's out there in the driveway, as I sit nursing the repair bill. I had one load this week, and it was a shorty ....

Something needs to break! My wife is waving her duty weapon at me, wanting to know when da heck I'm getting out of her hair!

I'm actually doing pretty good with the Sprinter. The van is currently sitting in Buchanan so making some money is better than none. It needs to have the A/C fixed and an oil change. That's about it. I went into the Sprinter since it gets better gas mileage and I can have more load opportunities. If someone feels that they can make some money in a cargo van then I have no quarms about letting someone drive it. I've replaced the front and rear shocks, driveshaft, etc, etc. If someone wants to buy it off of me then I have no problem with that either. At least it wont be sitting in the yard.

Personally I would try to sell it. Even if you can't get all of what you owe coughing up the difference is goig to cost you less than having it sit.

Yea the longer it sits, the harder it will become to sell. I'd actually recommend doing a bit of everything. Post some ads looking for a driver and if you find a good one, then spend the money to fix it. At the same time, post some ads to sell it.

Better to be proactive than sit there and hope something magically falls on your lap.
