It is going much better than I projected.
The truck is averaging 7.2 right now for ALL GALLONS 8 trips so far back and forth. At one point it was 7.5 than I just had to try going 220 to 81 to 460 to 77, way to many hills for fuel economy thats what brought it down to 7.2.
Customers are great to work with so far.
I just finished detailing the truck yesterday and getting it completely orginized and now I remember where I put things cause the day I bought it was the first day I was running and just threw everything in it and away I went, dirt including. It was washed but was nasty inside except for clean windshield, dash, and vacuum, plus the fine quality tire application to the rubber floor. Smoke residue on everything, but it cleaned up great. (You know they could acutally ask and get another 2K if they did what I did to really make these impressvie by a great detail job.)
I love the engine, smooth, very quite, powerfull. It could use more torque up MTNs, the problem is the fuel efficent 342 rears. Such a trade off. Put Cemtratics on last week, no difference I could tell of so front end in good alignment. New drives I put on, no retreads. All in all looks like I bought a nice truck, and as well as it is going I should of bought more truck. Dave Ramsey would be proud of me though.
Hope Phil is wrong on the Economy, but if he is I should do very well, as the other company doing the opposite loads of me will suffer way before I ever will. The Broker will only put one individual on this account since it is HOT, if I breakdown or vacation the other co. can take over for me. So I not have to worry about loosing the account should I break down or want time off.
Thanks all for caring, I am doing well and am very happy.
