Just had a friend call me,and tell me he had a J B Hunt straight truck,20 ft with sleeper, pass him,is there going to be more competition?

I've seen a couple too, same with a few swift soft side and box straight trucks.

Didn't think much of it since I seen the UPS delivery trucks with trailers behind them.

...that is till their customers realize JBHunt knows nothing about hurry-up freight. They'll be nothing but an 'LTL in a straight truck' company.

those swift soft sides that pull the soft sided trailers are actually hauling cars. I know those CMT trick my truck loaner trucks say j.b. hunt on the side. i wonder if maybe they are trickin a straight truck and came up with a loaner straight truck?

I get calls from JB Hunt once in awhile. I tell them I only have a class "B" license. Most of the time they say to call them if I get a class "A" license. But I had one JB Hunt recruiter tell me not to lose their number as they were thinking about getting into straight trucks. I just wish they get that I only have a class "B" license and stop calling.

When I was with JB Hunt back In 2001 for about 5 months they had about 50 straight trucks that was dedicated to sam's and walmart for emergency LTL loads...Not sure If this Is the same trucks as you guys have seen...
