I must say this is the absolutely longest way to spend a day. It's not that you want someone to pass, but watching the family suffer is so draining.
It's brutal. And it makes me sad.

On the upside, I'm at the yard and you're not. So you're spared at least that. :D

Yesterday I picked up a hoodie and a t-shirt that I ordered. I wanted them to be a little roomy so I ordered them in 4X instead of 3X. It made sense at the time, like 3 or 4 months ago. Now, after losing a little weight, turns out I should have ordered 2X. I am now the proud owner of a Load 1 coсktail dress with a bonus drawstring hoodie. :D

I remember suggesting to John that it might be a good idea if Dad wore a refective vest while working out in the yard with all the truck traffic.
While saying it was a good idea, he also laughed and said we'll see how long that lasts. He likes to do his own thing. I did notice he had it on the next day...but never again.

Nothing but good memories from the few times I met and briefly spoke with Adam.

John it's really rough to go through this ....been there. prayin still.

Got a run Belleville to Dayton.. I guess I'll shoot on over home since I'm so close. Hope dispatch doesn't assume I want to stay home since I'm there lol. Gotta make more this week just to pay the "have to" bills, but can't see sleeping in the van 75 miles from home

Try two loads in fourteen days. My attitude has dropped like the temperatures.

I can say I know exactly what you are going through, as I went through the same thing when my Dad's sister passed away.It was emotionally devastating and draining. Hang in there, as you all are in my deepest prayers. We're all here for you and Greta.

That's cool. I was just thinking, I've lived in michigan my whole life and I've never been there. I've been up to the bridge, but that's it. Maybe some day :)

I've got a friend who lives in the U.P., actually in Drummond island. She needs to put her semi on a ferry to get home.....Too far up north for me....lol...

Still sitting. Dad is taking his time, which is his right. He seems at peace and they have done a wonderful job seeing to him and the family.
