The owner got what he felt was a better deal....that is business..period. No one screwed you Todd..you screwed yourself....you burned thru cash this year like water and have nothing to show for it...you wanted to have some fun this year.....Having fun yet?

Picked up in Findlay, Oh yesterday late in the evening with a 5 am delivery in Flatrock Mich....Frankie called late last night with a pickup in the Ann Arbor Mich area after I drop in Flatrock...Drpped, then picked up 2 hrs early and am on my way to the Dayton area....Then back home and wait for a load with to start theweek with grandma....

That is exactly why I am here ....my brain gets tired driving 5,000 or more other vehicles too...
I didnt get screwed? Ok lets see...I had a van in south texas that I had lined up to buy that I gave up because Noel promised me that his van was going to me. After many back and forth conversations he reassured me that the first week of January I was to fly down to Charlotte to pick up the van...So I gave my two weeks notice to arguably the best owner out there, and now have no ride with him anymore. I didn't have a christmas this year/ wasnt able to participate in gift exchanges or go out with the family for the traditional christmas trip. I was assured the van as late as last wednesday, he told me how he was a christian man and only made the offer to me, and that he wasnt dealing with anyone else...So you tell me now that south texas has no vans to sell, and i have no ride...How am i not screwed...I went from a job/a van in south texas to no ride and no money made for almost a month now...Yes I now have a deal set up to drive with a very good owner here at Load 1 in two or three weeks....An im not gonna stop thriving and pushing to get my own van, but dont say im not screwed when ya dont know the whole story...I also know that there are people out there that have it way worse than me...But I was just venting that I got railed, an yall are saying I didnt...Yeah its business but shady as heck, I got lied to an went from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows...Yall be safe out there this year, and ill be out there with yall sometime...GoodLuck and GodBless

I'm in Kansas City, where it's cold and sunny. Drove across 64 and then 70 to get here, through the swath of the tail of that storm. I mostly caught flurries across Illinois and Missouri, (and that stupid relentless 35 MPH headwind I was driving into, which did wonders for my fuel mileage). Lots of cars off the shoulder and in the median the closer I got the KC, but all that happened the night before, apparently. Roads were clear and dry when I went over them.

Yup. We are going to be looking at the Western Carribean. We had a really good time snorkeling, and have been told that the reefs in the western area are a lot more colorful and vibrant. I am in the process of putting all of the pics up on facebook right now.
I 65S has icey spots in the right hand lane....between Lafayette and Lebanon....took an hour to go 35 miles...
