It always depended on what your week was like. If you ran hard and made money, you deserve the room. Always great to have all that space after vanning all week. The climate control, cable tv, nicer shower, big bed and wifi are real pleasures after a hard high mileage week.

I went Milwaukee to Winnipeg, Fargo to San Francisco, San Francisco to Moab UT, Denver to Bayard NM and now Dallas to Seneca SC. I'd get a room if I wasn't going home after this drop! This is day 16 on the road in a CV. I rarely stay out this long. I think this is the longest I've ever stayed out. I'm not normal!!!

That long in a CV would drive me crazy lol. I'm currently at the Love's in Shartlesville PA. Searching thru the Hotels By Me app trying to pick a place to rent my "rion" or room as others might say lol :p

I've had my best luck with Priceline. Try for one near a college with a pool and hot tub.

This week I've been from Ft Wayne to Hagerstown MD, DC area to Ft Benning, ATL to Smyrna Tn, then Bowling Green Ky to Macungie PA. To me that's a lot of miles for 7 days
